Founded by Lee Nam in 1910, Yuen Chun began as a sundry provisions store located on Petaling Street, in Kuala Lumpur’s Chinatown. Yuen Chun Industries is currently managed by the Fourth Generation of the Lee Family.
Yuen Chun simply means ‘Original and Special’ – a description which endures till today, more than one hundred years on. Our soy sauces continue to be traditionally brewed using only the finest natural ingredients.
Mamak is a term used in Malaysia to describe the mixed culture of Indians and Muslims. The culture of Mamak has developed into a distinctly Malaysian style. Mamak Mee Goreng is Mamak-style stir-fried yellow egg noodles which is one of the most popular dishes in the Mamak food culture.
